This is a very cool sci-fi story about identity and agency with a lot of trippy elements about reality, exploration, and self-awareness, as our protagonist has to navigate a brave new world in which he gets to decide who he is and how he fits into it after being diagnosed with a rare disease that he and only four others have, which makes them forget things, even details about those they love and are closest to. Attending a support group for this disease, they learn that their shared ailment may not be coincidence at all with the help of a benevolent Septimus. What starts of as sort of straight laced turns out to be an exciting sci-fi thriller, but I'm being vague as to not spoil details. I hope Lackey will create more such comics!
