The best issue of the New 52 "Batman" so far. A perfect comic book and fits among some of the greatest Batman stories. I can see someone making the case that the Court of Owls and the Talon are Batman's most dangerous enemy. Batman himself seems to think they are pretty out there in the story.
This book is way to over hyped. The story gets booring after a few pages.
The last time I saw Batman get the snot kicked out of him like this was during Knightfall. Such a good issue! You can see the fear in Batman's eyes, see the insanity creep in, see the deperation! Scott Snyder is writing, what I think, will be haild as one of the best Batman stories, ever! Greg Capullo will go down as a premire Batman artist after this. The only complaint I have is that it was to short!
The Court of Owls has been a great run and can't wait to see what Batman will have to deal with next.
I just can’t stop praising this book. Snyder and Capulo continue to improve on what they did in the last issue. My favorite page in this issue is a full page splash where we see Batman as Batman sees himself in his mind when fighting off the Court of Owls. It is just a beautiful page.
Wow, this Court of the Owls story is great. The way they pull you into the madness with batman is amazing.
This is the first time since I was a little kid watching TAS that I legitimately LOVED Batman.
I am loving this series along with Animal Man. The whole Court of the Owls story is very unique and interesting. The artistry of this issue is so amazing and just how you think Batman is going insane he comes back to reality and kicks ass. Can't wait for issue 7 for this story to continue. Highly recommend reading this.
