Good Night Good Duck
Good solid fun. I've enjoyed Gerber's 1970s classics, and I enjoyed this volume as well, without having read the first volume either. It seems Zdarksy et al have brought in a fun cast of characters while being meta-referential about Marvel, Hollywood, and honoring the zaniness of comics all at once when we find out why Howard is all of a sudden so popular again after multiple hiatuses within the MCU. Marvel at Kevin Maguire's fun art, because if you enjoyed him on Justice League in the 1980s, he's back with stellar facial expressions and the storytelling chops to support Zdarksy and Quinones' antics where you'll probably laugh, maybe cry, and enjoy just how weird a mainstream comic can be.
