A fun, quirky re-imagining of X-Factor, were David brings is characterization A-game to create lots of fun and tension for our merry band of government-sanctioned mutants. Stroman's art is stylized and I can see how he ended up doing some early Image comics work. The story has some goofy elements, as Madrox can be a bit of an ass (which is what makes him fun), but he'll get his by the end of the issue, right? I wonder what will become of the tension between Alex & Lorna. Quicksilver is dying and some goofy postcard leads him to DC and X-Factor to find the villain? Poor Rahne is still programmed to love Alex. I wish this had been explored more deeply, poor Rahne. How's that gonna turn out for Lorna? Val Cooper calls out Alex on his ineptness
