This is the first comic book I ever bought. In May of 1991 this comic books cover jumped off the self at me. It is the 350th appearance of THOR. The cover has a black background with Loki and Thor in the throes of battle. "At Death Do We Part". This story is a great ending to a series long epic battle between brothers. The dialog covers the many years of contention between them and brings the reader up to speed for the finally. As a first time reader, this was a great book to start with. It shows the compassion and love that Thor has for Earth and the contempt and hatred that Loki has for Thor. ***Spoiler Alert***The battle ends with Thor killing Loki and being banished forever. Then a new version of Thor is introduced to protect the Earth.
