Sometimes in our judicial system, bad men like Billy Kincaid slip through the cracks. Posing as an ice cream man, Kincaid lured children into his van and killed them. When Spawn learns that Kincaid has been set free, he remembers he once turned down a chance to kill the child molester. He does what the courts couldn't, passing his own death sentence on the pervert.

McFarlane couldn't keep up to the standard he set in those first 4 issues, but trust me when I say that he didn't disappoint me by much. I wouldn't recommend this issue to little kids, or for people with delicate sensibilities. This is a taboo subject (kidnapping / child abuse), just so you know. This is the first appearance of this troubled person, Billy Kincaid, as well as the first appearance of the bums in the alley that Spawn befriends and "lives" with over the course of several issues.
A fantastic, though disturbing issue. Todd McFarlane is maintaining a steady line of awesome stories so far. The first arc was great, this stand alone story is equal to that. Artwork is fantastic as always and his writing is very full, though long winded at times.
