In the Dark Ages, Angela disguises herself as a damsel in distress to lure a Spawn into a cave. Too late, the Spawn realizes he's been tricked by the Spawn-killing angel, who promptly dispatches the unfortunate creature. In the present, Angela continues her mission by attacking the modern Spawn, only to be defeated for the first time ever!

It's written by Neil Gaiman, and is a good issue, but it's not great. It's the first Angela, and she's a formidable foe for Spawn. It kept me interested, but I feel like Gaiman has written better stuff.
Neil Gaiman writes this issue of Spawn. We get to see Angela for the first time and also Medievil Spawn! This is a better issue than last issue, but it seemed a bit rushed. Neil puts it all in at the beginning, and I think just rushes through the rest of the issue. We meet Cogliostro for the first time too. Apparantly he knows an awful lot about Spawn. It's a good issue overall, and there is a neat Jim Lee poster inside too.
