The homeless distract the Redeemer while Spawn recovers. As he fights, Spawn gradually realizes that his foes powers are being depleted. With a final blast, he downs the Redeemer, who is transported back to his heavenly creators. Afterward, Spawn returns to Simmonsville and destroys this reminder of a happier time. He accepts that sorrow and loneliness have become his fate.

A great end to this story-arc. Anti-Spawn is defeated and sent back to where he came from. Spawn gains even more respect from the homeless he's chosen to defend, and Spawn gives a special gift to Wanda. Grant Morrison wrote a great story here, and Creg Capullo's art is defining Spawn! This is great stuff and I don't know why it's taken me this long to re-read all this!
