This book is my favorite Batman compilation and was the reason as to why I began delving into the stories about the Dark Knight. I never wanted to take a break when reading every panel from every page. The story itself is not the typical content when reading a Batman comic, which is either about a villain taking over Gotham and/or someone placing vengeance upon the Caped Crusader. The Long Halloween, however, is more of a crime story in which it's single issues are perfectly weaved with one another. My personal favorite and what I believe to be the best Batman "comic" is undoubtedly Batman: The Long Halloween.
