Josh Whedon is just an amazing writer. The first 6 issues got me hooked to his work. This is up there in one of my favourites series for sure. I could relate to the characters and got the feeling of what I loved when growing up with the x-men

Joss Whedon's entire run brought tears to my eyes. He brought back a flood of memories and feelings I hadn't felt in a long time. I never thought I'd feel this way about a superhero book again. He made me remember why I fell in love with the X-Men in the first place. He hit all the right notes. There were a lot of moments that were obviously nostalgic and would probably only resonate with people who have read Claremont's run from the eighties. It worked on me, though.

This is an epic X-men run, bringing back what i truly loved about the X-Men comics, a sense of humanity in the characters.
