Sure the art is decently pretty, but the same zeal I still hold about Jim Lee on X-Men doesn't translate here. The art feels more stiff for some reason, despite that it seemed Lee was trying some new techniques in the Hush storyline a but. The story itself, on its own, has Superman fighting some elementals against... an Amazonian who is pissed off at Superman for being an outsider, an alien, and who has come to the United States, adopted it and what? On its own, this story does not make much sense nor is it engaging on its on. Perhaps as a chapter in a larger story, what comes before must be absolutely necessary for understanding this issue's content, because on its own it leaves me greatly wanting. Why should I care? I don't know.
