Here There Be Monsters
Read 2020: Book begins with a 3-issue Lizard story which tells us who is in charge when Dr. Connors loses his shit and becomes a giant humanoid lizard, and I hardly cared for it. While Jenkins can write some good psychological exploration of characters, I don't care for what he says about Connors/the Lizard. Peter Parker seems to be a huge sap and trusts too much in a man who doesn't seem to give a shit about his kid, who is de-aged from Amazing Spider-Man 252 or even 365. Spectacular 14 is reprinted, which is a more engaging story about a kid with such severe cerebral palsy he cannot talk at all. We get to know his thoughts as his father and sister take care of him and what he witnesses when Spidey fights Morbius. Engaging painted tale.
