Say What?! (contest day 15) – Comic book covers you won’t believe exist #65
Nov 22, 2011 by     5 Comments    Posted In: Say What?!

All of November, each “Say What?!” is part of a contest. Be funny. Win Something. (contest rules below image)

Each day is an opportunity to enter the contest. Usually, the Say What?! feature would have some sort of punchline written below the image. But this month, you get to write the punchline. Simply enter a funny quip – relating to the image – in the comments below the article. I will read them all and each day, the person who writes the comment which makes me laugh the most that day will be entered in the contest. So that each day one person will be entered in the draw and at the end of the month an entrant will be chosen at random as the winner. The funnier you are, the better chance you have of winning. There is no limit to how many times you can be entered in the draw but you can only win one entry per day.

The contest is open only to registered users of StashMyComics.com so if you don’t already have an account with us, you can sign-up now for free (no catch, no gimmicks). When you leave a comment for the contest, do so using your StashMyComics.com username so we can properly keep track of the contest entries and reward the winner promptly. Click here to view the prize.

Check the blog every weekday for the new Say What?!. Have fun, be creative and funny.

Now fire away!

    German:
    Das Wetter fing an, rau,
    Die winzigen Schiff wurde geworfen,
Wenn nicht für den Mut der furchtlose Crew
Die Elritze würden verloren gehen, die Elritze verloren gehen würden.

    English:
    The weather started getting rough,
    The tiny ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The minnow would be lost, the minnow would be lost.

So after 6 issues, the short-lived “Gert, the Farting Pirate” failed to gain an audience and sank into comic ignominy.
