Joey Esposito and Jonathan Moore go back to Kickstarter to fund the sequel to their cryptid-noir miniseries Footprints. In Footprints: Bad Luck Charm, Esposito and Moore team up for a one-shot double feature that stars the Jersey Devil and Motheresa in Vegas prior to Vol. 1 in the titular Bad Luck Charm and Bigfoot and the gang hunting down a new cryptid, The Lizard Man, in Ghost on the Road.
Esposito and Moore are looking to raise $6500 to get the one-shot printed, with money going towards production costs and printing costs. They’re offering rad rewards like PDFs of the one-shot and volume 1, along with scripts, art, and more. Print copies of both the one-shot and volume one are to be had, along with sketches, original pages, Skype sessions with Esposito, having your comic script edited by Esposito, podcast appearances, and much, much more. Needless to say, there’s plenty to choose from. But, Joey and Jonathan know it can be hard to convince you to part with your hard earned money on another one of the thousand Kickstarters you see each week, so they’ve attached the completely done Bad Luck Charm short. 6 pages, already done, so you can see just what sort of stories your money is helping to make and print.
