Fan Film Friday: Marvel Zombies
Sep 23, 2011 by     7 Comments    Posted In: Fan Film Friday

Welcome to the latest addition to the SMC blog, Fan Film Fridays!  What is this you ask?  Well, just like the thread started in the Media section of the boards, we’re going to take this to the next level.  Every Friday, I’ll be bringing you one new fan film a week.  Some of them will no doubt be great, some will be OK, and some could be down right awful.  When it needs it, I’ll give you a rating, just to let you know that there might be some language, or suggestive dialogue floating around in the film.

What Fan Film Friday will mainly showcase is what us comic book lovers want to see nearly as much as we want to see in those comics.  We want to see our favorite characters on film.  Alot of us sit there and dream about what that would be like, some of us on the other hand take that chance and make a film.  Of course, all of the characters we read are owned and copyrighted, so naturally a fan film can’t be made and then sold.  That’s for Hollywood.  For the small guys like us, we take our labor of love and post it online for all to watch and enjoy for free.  The quality of a film can be good or bad, but if the story they are trying to get across is done well, then you’ve actually go something.

This week’s fan film will get us started off right.  This video became an instant sensation when it hit the Internet, and I don’t think it’s momentum has slowed yet.  Without further adieu, I bring you Marvel Zombies.

would definitely like to see a longer version. the costumes and makeup are fantastic. and MJ’s 3 second performance was better than MJ in all 3 spidey flicks.
