kickstarter-logoIntroducing Fort Hope, Washington is the first in a 10 issue series from Seattle based artist, Kodi Sershon. This Kickstarter promises to bring mystery, intrigue and murder to the small quaint town in this story, which is located on the east side of the Olympic Peninsula. Coolest of all will be the immersive experience that Sershon has planned for readers of his book by supplying monthly “relics.” These include post cards, letters, photos, drawings, and exclusive web content all of which will contribute to the overall story. Tune in to the Fort Hope Kickstarter video to learn more!

If you’re interested in immersing yourself in a comic book experience that takes you beyond the pages then I encourage you to give Fort Hope a try. The interactive experience Kodi is creating goes a step further than all the web generated content we’ve come to expect in this day and age. Some of you out there may still remember what it’s like to have something to look forward to in the mail (gasp)! If you’d like to stir old feelings then try this out! If you can’t remember the last time you obsessively peeked through your blinds to see if the mail man has arrived, then now’s your chance! This little mystery book is sure to have you stalking your postman!

Kodi has met his secondary goal of $500 to create the website for the series, and now is reaching for a third goal to have the book wrapped in a hand printed cover in block print or silkscreen. Neato! If $1,000 is reached, Kodi will fill the book with postcards, stickers, and various trinkets!

Remember, if you’re thinking of jumping in on this or any Kickstarter, they are available for a LIMITED TIME ONLY. So, hurry up and visit the Fort Hope Kickstarter page to make your pledge today!
